Three years of wedded bliss

It is our three-year anniversary today, so last night we went out to dinner. That means none of these were allowed.



Our friend Janice babysat for us.

We went to a restaurant called Gather in Berkeley. We've been there several times and really like it. Here we are at our romantic corner table.



We started off with some vegan charcuterie. It was really good, even though one of the dishes was beet-based and the another was turnip-based (winter root vegetables are what's in season). You can also see my rye whiskey.



Then we moved on to a delicious Stinging Nettles pizza. I already forget what was on it, but it was fantastic.





We also had some dessert, but we ate it so quickly that I forgot to take a picture.
