Happy Birthday, Dog
Ol' Dumpy hit the eight-year mark today. He's still sowing his oats though. Last week a woman on the street called him a "young" dog. Once upon a time, Dumpy thought he was going to have me all to himself. But then Ziggy came along. And then Holly. And then Juliet. Not only has Dumpy adapted to each new family member, but he has figured out how to supervise all of us.

When you were growing up, Joel, you always seemed to like cats rather than dogs. I guess it took guys like Dumpy and Ziggy to change your mind! Happy Birthday, Dumpy! We'll see you in November.
