The "frontyard" is behind me. This is actually where the swing set and other playgound equipment was set up when children occupied the home.
We were out on the rear veranda overlooking the "backyard". The grounds and gardens were meticulously groomed.
The magnificent estate with 250 rooms! The tour of the place was amazing. The furnishings and attention to the ongoing restoration projects were so detailed. Approximately 100 staff served the family!
We ended the day at the winery......luckily we were inside when the rains came. It was OK though since there were wine tastings!
